Determine ring size

General

In most European countries, the ring size is determined by measuring the diameter of the finger or its circumference. In the Netherlands and Germany, the diameter measure is mostly used and in many other European countries, the circumference system. In the USA and Canada, a different system is applied.

As an example: Diameter size 17 ½ corresponds to circumference size 55 or American size 7 ¼. See the comparison chart for this. Check the size chart here.

How do I determine my ring size?

First determine on which finger you want to wear your ring.

  • If you know its size (Circumference (EU), Diameter (NL/DE), or US/CAN), use the dropdown menu when ordering your favorite ring and click on the appropriate size.
  • If you don't know the size but you have a well-fitting ring for that finger, put it on a ruler and measure the exact inner diameter of the ring in millimeters (see image). This is your ring size. Choose this size from the dropdown menu when ordering your ring.
  • If neither of the above applies, order a Multisizer here. Follow the instructions to measure and read your exact circumference size. This is the size you choose when ordering your favorite ring. Note: The cost of the Multisizer (€5.00 including shipping) will be deducted from your order.

IMPORTANT

If you're not quite sure, ask a friend or your spouse to help you determine the right fit. When measuring your ring size, make sure your hands are at a normal temperature, not too cold nor too warm.
