Delivery and return policy

We want you to be happy with your piece. Most of our jewellery can be returned within 14 days. A few pieces that are individually made or altered to your specification are treated differently by law, and we explain each case below so you know where your piece stands before you order.

Delivery

All good things come to those who wait. Our pieces are handcrafted in Italy, not mass-produced, so each one takes time, attention and craftsmanship to make. The delivery time for your specific piece is shown on its product page. Made-to-order pieces naturally take a little longer, and we think the result is worth the wait.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

For most pieces you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To exercise it, let us know within 14 days, using the withdrawal function on our website, by email at info@lepaul.amsterdam, or by another clear statement of your decision to withdraw. You then have 14 days to send the piece back to us.

You are welcome to unpack and examine your piece as you would in a shop, to establish its nature, characteristics and how it works. Please handle it with care and return it with its original packaging where possible, complete with any pouch, card or accessory it came with. If a piece has been handled beyond what is needed to examine it, and this has reduced its value, we may deduct that reduction in value from your refund. This does not remove your right to withdraw; it may simply affect the amount refunded.

We will refund all payments due to you, including the cost of our standard delivery where applicable, to your original payment method within 14 days of your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the piece back, or until you provide evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the piece unless the piece was faulty or we made an error.

Adjustable rings (standard size range)

Our adjustable rings are set to your chosen size, within their standard range, before they reach you. Because this is a standard adjustment and not an individual modification, these rings carry the full 14-day right of withdrawal described above. If you are unsure of your size, contact us before ordering.

Rings in a special size (factory-altered to your specification)

If you order a ring in a size outside its standard adjustment range, our workshop individually alters that ring to the size you specify. Because the ring is then made to your individual specification, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to it. We tell you this clearly on the product page before you order.

Rings made to your size (individually manufactured)

Some rings are individually made or sized to the size you choose. Because these rings are manufactured to your individual specification, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. Where a ring is made to your size in this way, we tell you clearly on the product page before you order.

Your rights if something is wrong

None of the above affects your statutory rights. The right of withdrawal is about changing your mind; it is separate from your rights if a piece is faulty. If a piece arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, or if we deliver the wrong size or item, contact us at info@lepaul.amsterdam and we will put it right in accordance with your statutory rights, at no cost to you. This applies to every piece, including those made to your specification.

How to return

  1. Tell us within 14 days of receiving your piece, using the withdrawal function on our website, by email at info@lepaul.amsterdam, or by another clear statement.
  2. We will confirm the return address and details.
  3. Send the piece back within 14 days, securely packaged and, where possible, in its original packaging.
  4. We will refund you in accordance with the refund terms above, using your original payment method.
