STONE & MATERIAL DETAILS+
A gold-plated sterling silver octopus pendant in light-blue enamel, set with white cubic zirconia, on a 35cm chain with a 10cm extension.
Every Misis piece is made in Vicenza, one of Italy's historic centres of goldsmithing, and the brand takes its name from Mysis, the tiny shrimp that feeds the creatures of the sea. Each jewel is built on 925 sterling silver, plated in 18k gold or rhodium and finished with a protective e-coating that helps guard the colour and shine. The enamels are hand-painted by skilled artisans, so no two pieces are ever quite identical. Nickel-free and lead-free, to EU standards.

The OCTOPUS PENDANT NECKLACE puts a small, clever creature at the collarbone. A gold-plated octopus, its body washed in soft light-blue enamel and set with white cubic zirconia, curls its arms as though mid-thought. Made in Vicenza on sterling silver, plated in 18k gold and finished to last. It hangs on a 35cm chain with a generous 10cm extension, so it sits high or low as you like. One of the COLLANE MARE sea-animal necklaces, it wears easily on its own or alongside the crab and starfish from the same line. Quietly charming, and a little bit curious.
STYLING & VERSATILITY+
How to wear it: a pendant sits best against a plain, open neckline that gives it space. Let it be the thing the eye goes to. Pairing: keep earrings small, or wear it with the crab and starfish from the same COLLANE MARE line for a considered mix. Layering: the 10cm extension means it sits high or low, so it layers cleanly with a longer chain. When: easy for every day, finished enough for an evening.
CARE & LONGEVITY+
Caring for your Octopus Pendant Necklace
Your piece is built to last with a little care. Remove it before swimming, bathing, exercise, or applying perfume, lotion or cosmetics. Contact with water and chemicals is what dulls plating fastest.
Cleaning: wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. For a deeper clean, use a little mild soap in lukewarm water and a soft brush, then rinse and pat dry.
Storage: keep it in your Le.Paul pouch, separately from other jewellery, to prevent scratching. The enamel is hand-painted, so avoid knocks against hard surfaces.
Your 18k gold plating meets a high jewellery standard. To keep its warm tone, avoid prolonged water, chemicals and friction against hard surfaces.
For full jewellery care guidance, see our care page: https://lepaul.amsterdam/pages/taking-care . Need a piece refreshed? We can often re-polish or re-plate, contact us at info@lepaul.amsterdam.
